Aerosol

MILSPRAY's pre-filled, single-use touch-up paint is authorized by the USCG for cutters and boats and features a special treatment on the bottle to ensure storage stability and maximizes shelf life. The use of the aerosol sprayer allows for an excellent spray finish that is comparable to the original paint application. MILSPRAY's aerosol kits are easy to use - simply mix the components as instructed, then attach the two ounce bottle to the aerosol unit. The kits are self-contained with all items required to perform minor touch-up, including protective gloves, sanding block, and a lint-free tack cloth.

Brush

MILSPRAY's pre-filled, single-use touch-up paint is authorized by the USCG for cutters and boats and features a special treatment on the bottle to ensure storage stability and maximizes shelf life. The innovative brush head, made of the finest material available, uses a series of delivery tubes that transport paint from the bottle through the bristles to the work area requiring touch-up, and leaves little or no brush marks. The bottle stands upright when not in use.

The use of the brush applicator allows the safe application of touch-up paint without atomization or the use of any aerosol propellants. No thinning is needed. To use, simply mix the components as directed, then squeeze the bottle. The coating material travels through the delivery tubes to the brush head. Apply a wet coat in even, parallel passes, overlapping each pass 50 percent to avoid bare areas and pinholes.

Roller

MILSPRAY's pre-filled, single-use touch-up paint is authorized by the USCG for cutters and boats and features a special treatment on the bottle to ensure storage stability and maximizes shelf life. The innovative foam material is engineered and manufactured exclusively for MILSPRAY® and is compatible with a multitiude of PPG PSX 700 coatings. The special high-density, closed cell foam allows for the safe application of the material without atomization or the use of any aerosol propellants.

The resulting finish quality is virtually indistinguishable from a spray finish. The bottle stands upright when not in use, and there is an integrated plug attached to the roller head that is used to temporarily reseal the bottle. To use, simply squeeze the bottle and the coating material dispenses directly onto the foam roller. Roll out the material onto any substrate.

Vacuum Touch-Up System

MILSPRAY's revolutionary vacuum touch-up system was designed to apply low voc, high solids military coatings. It combines the principals of fluid dynamics and the Bernoulli Effect and yields transfer efficiencies greater than any other application system of its type. The heart of the system is a molded one piece handle that has a precision pathway bored through a solid plastic housing. This results in reduced friction, less air turbulence, less wall friction, and fewer obstructions. In fact, the vacuum gun contains none of the parts found in a typical spray gun because it is not a spray gun. There are no needles, flow regulators or other parts found in a traditional spray gun system.

Utilizing MILSPRAY's five ounce bottles containing PPG PSX 700, a vacuum is created within the bottle, and the material is actually pulled from the bottle and transferred to the substrate. There is no blow back, no overspray, and no Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS). Extremely low air pressure is required to create the vacuum - approximately 15-25 psi. It can be connected to any compressor or air line.

The vacuum gun has "system limiters" and fixed factory settings. There are no flow or volume controls and no way to increase the amount of coating that can be dispensed through the vacuum gun. Additionally, the vacuum gun only accepts MILSPRAY® touch-up bottles and will not work with any larger capacity cups or bottles. This ensures that the system is used for its intended purpose - touch-up.

Quart

MILSPRAY® quarts offer an inexpensive means of obtaining the same Mil-Spec material found in our touch up products in a manageable quart size. Each quart of base or “A” component has just enough room in it to pour the catalyst, or “B” component. Simply add the contents of the “B” container to the contents of the “A” container and shake or mix thoroughly. Each component has been pre-measured to ensure that mixing ratios are correct and that one (1) quart of mixed material results. For spray applications it may be necessary to thin the material. Please see the thinning instructions for the specific material ordered.
