Brush

MILSPRAY's pre-filled touch-up brush starts with a specially treated bottle that ensures storage stability and maximizes shelf life. The innovative brush head, made of the finest material available, uses a series of delivery tubes that transport paint from the bottle through the bristles to the work area requiring touch-up, and leaves little or no brush marks. The bottle stands upright when not in use.

The use of the brush applicator allows the safe application of touch-up paint without atomization or the use of any aerosol propellants. To use, simply mix the components as directed, then squeeze the bottle. The coating material travels through the delivery tubes to the brush head. Apply a wet coat in even, parallel passes, overlapping each pass 50 percent to avoid bare areas and pinholes.

Quart

MILSPRAY® quarts offer an inexpensive means of obtaining the same Mil-Spec material found in our touch up products in a manageable quart size. Each quart of base or “A” component has just enough room in it to pour the catalyst, or “B” component. Simply add the contents of the “B” container to the contents of the “A” container and shake or mix thoroughly. Each component has been pre-measured to ensure that mixing ratios are correct and that one (1) quart of mixed material results. For spray applications it may be necessary to thin the material. Please see the thinning instructions for the specific material ordered.

MILSPRAY's pre-filled, single use QTosol touch up product features a specially treated bottle that ensures storage stability and maximizes shelf life. The use of the QTosol sprayer allows for an excellent spray finish that is comparable to the original paint application.

MILSPRAY's QTosol kits are easy to use - simply mix the components as instructed, then attach the two ounce bottle to the QTosol unit. The kits are self-contained with all items required to perform minor touch-up, including protective gloves, sanding block and lint-free tack cloth.

MILSPRAY's pre-filled touch-up roller starts with a specially treated bottle that ensures storage stability and maximizes shelf life. The innovative foam material is engineered and manufactured exclusively for MILSPRAY®. The special high-density, closed cell foam allows for the safe application of paint material without atomization or the use of any aerosol propellants.

The resulting finish quality is virtually indistinguishable from a spray finish. The bottle stands upright when not in use, and there is an integrated plug attached to the roller head that is used to temporarily reseal the bottle. To use, simply squeeze the bottle and the coating material dispenses directly onto the foam roller. Roll out the material onto any substrate. The 2” wide roller makes it perfect for touching up flat areas quickly.

MILSPRAY's pre-filled, single use ROLosol touch up product features a specially treated bottle that ensures storage stability and maximizes shelf life. The use of the ROLosol sprayer allows for an excellent spray finish that is comparable to the original paint application.

MILSPRAY's ROLosol kits are easy to use - simply mix the components as instructed, then attach the 2 ounce bottle to the ROLosol unit. The kits are self-contained with all items required to perform minor touch-up, including protective gloves, sanding block and lint-free tack cloth.

Vacuum Touch-Up System

MILSPRAY's revolutionary vacuum touch-up system was designed to apply low voc, high solids military coatings. It combines the principals of fluid dynamics and the Bernoulli Effect and yields transfer efficiencies greater than any other application system of its type. The heart of the system is a molded one piece handle that has a precision pathway bored through a solid plastic housing. This results in reduced friction, less air turbulence, less wall friction, and fewer obstructions. In fact, the vacuum gun contains none of the parts found in a typical spray gun because it is not a spray gun. There are no needles, flow regulators or other parts found in a traditional spray gun system.

Utilizing MILSPRAY's 5 ounce bottles containing PPG Aerospace/DesothaneTM HS military & defense topcoats/CA 8200 series, a vacuum is created within the bottle and the material is actually pulled from the bottle and transferred to the substrate. There is no blow back, no overspray, and no Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS). Extremely low air pressure is required to create the vacuum - approximately 15-25 psi. It can be connected to any compressor or air line.

The vacuum gun has "system limiters" and fixed factory settings. There are no flow or volume controls and no way to increase the amount of coating that can be dispensed through the vacuum gun. Additionally, the vacuum gun only accepts MILSPRAY® touch-up bottles and will not work with any larger capacity cups or bottles. This ensures that the system is used for its intended purpose - touch-up.

Spot Shot™

The Spot Shot™ is MILSPRAY’s latest patented technology and is the most innovative touch-up product to date. What sets it apart from other touch-up applicators is its unique spray pump which requires no external air supply or aerosol propellants. This closed, self-contained system makes it highly efficient and environmentally friendly. The Spot Shot™ works much like any spray bottle you’re familiar with. To achieve an even coverage simply traverse (or move the Spot Shot™ in a vertical fashion from top down) while spraying.

Features and Benefits

  • No propellants

  • Non-pressurized container

  • Can be used where other spray paints are prohibited

  • Great for stenciling

  • Excellent for camouflage patterns

  • Spray pump design

Technical Highlights

  • Patented Technology (US Patent 8,875,479)

  • 95% Solids Transfer Efficiency

  • Coverage area of 6 square feet (theoretical) at 2 mil DFT
