2010 Toys for Tots Campaign

Hi Everyone:

I am pleased to announce that for the second year, MILSPRAY is a drop site for the USMC 2010 TOYS FOR TOTS drive.  For those of you who are not aware, the Toys For Tots program is a USMC charity, delegated to Marine Forces Reserve units to collect and distribute.  Since 1948, Marines have conducted successful nationwide campaigns at Christmas each year with the main objective being “to bring the joy of Christmas to America’s needy children”.  Over the last 62 years, through the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, Marines have distributed more than 400 million toys, to more than 188 million needy children.  This charitable endeavor has made U.S. Marines the unchallenged leader in looking after less fortunate children at Christmas. 

There is a box set up in the office for toy drop off.  If you are working remotely please feel free to send packages to the office.  We are asking, that if you can, please consider donating a toy this holiday to a child that may be less fortunate.  Also please spread the word to friends and family by forwarding this E-mail.  It is important to know that these toys benefit local children.  We have until December 9th to collect.  There is a list below of the items needed.   Thank you for your consideration.  If you have any questions, please advise.
