Corrosion Prevention, Control, & Repair (CPAC/R)
MILSPRAY Military Technologies is contracted by the Marine Forces Reserve to perform corrosion repair services to military mission essential equipment. Before we initiate any operational coordination with the customer, our company contacts the Clean Air and Environmental policy enforcement agency within the respective state to ensure we meet, and are in compliance with local regulations. We try to identify those requirements to ensure compliance, and in order to receive the necessary guidance, clearances, and or permissions to perform our services in support of the military. We respectfully request that the supported organization, if tenant aboard an installation, make the necessary liaison with the host organization to ensure we (MILSPRAY) are able to respond to potential inquiries, provide any additional documentation, or implement specific processes and procedures as directed.
Our support services are temporary in nature; normally spanning a period of about 12 to 14 weeks, based on equipment densities. Our Mobile Corrosion Repair Facility (MCRF) services include, but are not limited to, minor body repair, spot corrosion removal, minor disassembly of the item to access difficult to reach areas, complete CARC system application, undercarriage coating application, (Tough Coat) special coatings application, and Corrosion Prevention Compound (CPC application.
Our CARC system has been formulated as an environmentally friendly material, it is a Non-hazardous, water based-only paint system that generates no Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS), and thins with water. "No solvents are required". To accomplish our task we employ our patent-pending, portable, completely enclosed facility. Our portable facility is equipped with its own filtration system, specifically designed for effective ventilation and environmental protection. The waste materials are maintained in an environmentally compliant satellite storage space until it is removed by a nationally certified waste disposal firm (Safety Kleen).
MILSPRAY uses only environmentally friendly products and our procedures are based on environmentally sustainable processes, stewardship and sound science to insure protection of natural resources. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), recent usage logs, and a copy of our IH study from our operation in NC are provided upon request.
